Every Day Waves
My favourite way to wear my hair is wavy. If I am going out I may do a slightly tighter curl but my basic go-to style is a loose brushed out wave. Take a look below at my step-by-step guide on how to achieve this look!
Step 1: Add A Bit Of Shine
Start with your hair in its normal state or blow out straight if you have curly hair. Add 2-3 pumps of a hair oil to smooth the hair and give it a glossy finish.
Step 2: Spray, Curl, Pin
Separate hair into two sections, you may need to do this in three parts depending on how thick your hair is. Start with the bottom layer, then take small sections of your hair (about an inch width) and spray each section with a thermal styling spray. Comb through the section then curl with your iron. Let the curl out and instantly pin by gathering the curl together while it is still hot. Repeat until you look like the photo below and spray a medium hold hairspray all over, (not too much, we aren't creating a helmet here)!
Step 3: Unpin & Brush Out Curls
Start to unpin your curls, I like to do this from the bottom up giving the last pinned curls more time to set. After all of your curls are pulled out gently brush out the curls.
Step 4: Touch Up & Spray
Lastly, touch up any curls that may have fallen too much or gone awry. I usually do this mainly around my face since these are the curls you want the most perfect. Give your hair one final spray with a medium hold hairspray and you are done!
