Soft Pink Shadow & Winged Liner

Step 1:

I love using a cream based shadow to start my eye looks.  After applying Urban Decay's primer potion all over the lid I then applied Laura Mercier's Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Platinum.

Step 2:

Take a pale pink shadow and brush it all over the lid.  I used Laura Mercier Sateen Eye Color in Primrose.  Use a light brown matte shadow like Bobbi Brown's Eyeshadow in Blonde in the crease and smudged along the lower lash line.

Step 3:

To make sure your liner looks nice and filled in start by tight-lining the upper lash line.  Take your brush-my favourite for this is the Laura Mercier Flat Eye Liner Brush, and lift up the lid at the lash line to wiggle your Gel liner into the base of the lashes.  The trick here is that you are coming at the lashes from underneath instead of the top.  Next use a Fine Tipped Eyeliner Brush to apply your winged liner.

Winged Liner Tips:

Start by looking straight into the mirror and creating a flick, (the wing), on the outer corner of the eye.  Typically the wing should be aligned with the end of your brow-this works for the majority of eye shapes.  Bring the liner inwards along the lash line to the inner corner of the eye.  Lastly fill in any gaps to get a solid black line.

Cheeks & Lips

After finishing foundation, complete the look with a rosy pink blush and nude lip.  I used MAC Cheek Color in Taupe to contour the hollows of the cheek bones then applied Laura Mercier's Second Skin Cheek Color in Rose Bloom on the cheek bones upwards toward the ear.  Next highlight the highest point of the cheek bone with Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick Compact in Beige.  Finish with MAC Creme d' nude Lipstick paired with Laura Mercier Bare Naked Lip Glace.
