Product Review: Cupcakes and Cashmere for Birchbox
When I read that my favourite blogger Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere was doing the May edition of BIRCHBOX I signed up right away. With summer coming up I thought it would be great to have mini-sizes for weekend trips to the cabin and for my beach bag! Take a look below at the different products I tried out last month.
1. Not Soap, Radio | Joy Inducing Body Wash
At First Glance: Cute packaging!
Noteworthy: Smells amazing and is hydrating.
Currently: Almost Finished, thinking about ordering a full size.
2. Essential Elements | Wake Up Rosemary Body Lotion
At First Glance: Don't like the twist off cap, might be hard to get the product out.
Noteworthy: Extremely soothing and moisturizing, also love the mint scent, very refreshing.
Currently: Using when I want to pamper my skin.
3. Laqa & Co. | Sheer Lip Lube Pencil - Shade Menatour
At First Glance: Great colour and packaging.
Noteworthy: Even though this is a sheer lip pencil you can build the colour for a more opaque look. When first applied it has a mint tingle on lips, (in a good way).
Currently: Using when I want to brighten up my makeup look.
4. Number 4 | Non-Aerosol Hairspray
At First Glance: Hmmmm it isn't Aerosol???
Noteworthy: Okay hold, doesn't get crunchy and sprays evenly.
Currently: Hardly used, in my bag incase I need a hair touch-up.
5. Benefit Cosmetics | It's Potent! Eye Cream
At First Glance: Yay Benefit!
Noteworthy: Wears well under makeup and does help brighten the eye a bit.
Currently: Slightly used. I keep forgetting I have it, (like every other eye cream in my bathroom)!
