Fall Glow-Up: 5 Skincare Tips to Keep Your Skin Hydrated and Happy!

Fall is here, and while cozy sweaters and hot drinks are great, dry skin? Not so much. Cold weather can be tough on your skin, but with the right routine, you can stay glowing all season long! Here are my top tips to keep your skin hydrated and happy through the fall/winter months.

Tip #1:

Exfoliate with a gentle face scrub. It’s the secret to making sure your moisturizer really sinks in! Exfoliating clears away dry patches and leaves your skin smooth and ready to soak up all the hydration it needs.

Tip #2:

Treat yourself to a hydrating mask. I’m obsessed with Farmacy Honey Potion Plus Ceramide Hydration Mask — it’s a burst of moisture that gives my skin life during the dull winter days. If you’re in a rush, an overnight mask is a total lifesaver for waking up with soft, dewy skin. Try - Fresh Black Tea Firming Overnight Mask.

Tip #3:

Boost hydration with a serum. SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel is a must-have for tackling dryness in cold weather. It’s like a big drink of water for your skin, leaving it plump and silky smooth.

Tip #4:

Switch to a hydrating cleanser. My fave is CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser for normal to dry skin. It gently cleanses without stripping away your skin’s moisture, which is a total game changer for keeping your face soft all day.

Tip #5:

Don’t forget your lips! They need love too. I swear by Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm—it’s ultra-nourishing and keeps your lips soft and kissable, no matter how chilly it gets outside.

And finally, drink up! Hydration isn’t just about what you put on your skin, it’s about what you put in your body. I start my day with warm lemon water and always keep a water bottle on hand to avoid that dry, tight feeling.

Hope these tips help! Have any fall/winter skincare tricks of your own? Drop them in the comments below!

xo, Katie.
